Teeth whitening

Hey! (Not sure if this was the correct place to post!)

I really would like to have my teeth whitened. My local dentist does home kits and also clinic whitening (45 mins in the chair and then sends you home with a kit, which is more effective and quicker) I’ve been quoted £500.

my question is - I am petrified of the dentist and anything teeth related! But I really want mine whiter (not the turkey style)

has anyone ever had theirs done on here? What was your experience? Is it going to be extremely painful? If so how long did it last? And tips? Advice ect!

thank you! X

I had mine done through the dentist, he fitted me with custom made trays in the surgery then I used whitening gel in them for a week. Got good results.

Didn’t hurt but my teeth were sensitive during the time I used the gel

When you say sensitive do you mean when you ate and drank anything cold/hot? How long did it last?

I had exactly the same. Yes a bit more sensitive to cold food, but I use the Colgate sensitive instant relief toothpaste and that made them fine.

Any regrets? And were you happy?

I put sensitive toothpaste into the trays instead of gel for one night which cured it
