well as a person who prefers not to harm animals for beauty I am very grateful they have evolved

Jubilee Scents have a 'Tribe Inspired' perfume. It's exactly how i remember it.

I agree. I don’t care if things aren’t vegan. But I think the reasons they made the change was because they wanted to use cheaper ingredients.

I got some Dewberry hand cream yesterday the smell takes me right back. It smells just like I remember and it is quite strong. The hand creams and body butters did smell really nice much better than the perfume.

My favourite was Mostly Musk perfume oil. I wish they'd bring it back, preferably without changing the formula!

Agreed! It actually makes me feel sick! I'm not even sensitive to fragrance usually 😆
I guess body shop are trying to turn their fortunes around. I don't shop there any more, used to love the body butters, but they are trying to charge luxury prices for mid range products.

Oh gosh, I remember their perfume bars. Their gift basket range was a delight. Loved the rum raisin and kiwi lip balms. Coconut soap. Japanese washing grains. All they need to do to revive their fortunes is to bring back all these gems. We MNers have been saying it for years.

I had Vanilla Fields too. Just looked it up, someone is selling a half used bottle on ebay for £9 🤣

I remember Peppermint foot cream and the blackheads remover scrub which was like little grains in a pot (but can’t remember the exact name!)

Oooh, they've got it in perfume oil. Might be tempted! I wish they'd bring back all their perfume oils, they used to have dozens. I think I've still got half a sandalwood one that's probably long since gone off!

Japanese washing grains were just adzuki beans ground up. Easy enough to do in a good food processor.

both Dewberry and Fuzzy peach used to trigger the most awful migraines for me, hope they bring back the lovely vanilla one though which was my go to scent in the 90s.

The original white musk had honey in it. It wasn't tested on animals. The honey was removed to make it vegan and changed the perfume.
You may feel differently but I'm happy that using honey doesn't constitute harming animals.

This was 80 as well as 90s I think. Sold in a little plastic bottle that leaked.

Sister spent much of the 1980s drenched in this so I won't be buying any!

I loved the vanilla. I remember my mother commenting that I smelt like a cake 😂

I remember them bringing back the banana shampoo/conditioner range as a short gimmick and people bought it so much it returned for good.

I love their butters and can't find anything that is as thick or works as well. But, I stock up in the Jan sales, enough to last most of the year. No way would I pay £19 for any tub of body cream, outrageous!

I loved Oceanus. It was so clean and fresh. Fingers crossed that's next on their list to bring their old customers back!

@ThatWasMyLastFatFreeFrush Jubilee perfumes are excellent.I’ve got their dupes for both Dewberry and Ananya and they smell just how I remember from the 80’s
