If so, where from? I need to get some to wear with my bridesmaid dress, I really don't want them to be too high!

Links if poss appreciated x

I got a very, very nice pair (low heel, not too shiney) from nine west. They were ninety Euros though. I think if you have to wear them all day cheap shoes will give you blisters, and are a false economy when you factor in all the plasters..

M&S usually ok for quality

Pendulum · 17/06/2008 21:52

bear in mind if you go for very shiny silver, might be difficult to wear them again in non-bridesmaid situation.

the jones ones are fab because the colour is a bit muted, would also look great with jeans/ black trousers.

sadly I couldn't justify them as didn't go with outfit I was shopping for....

PillockOfTheCommunity · 17/06/2008 21:52

I got some fab silver heels in Tesco on saturday

whatdayisit · 17/06/2008 22:12

I know, I know they're boden but these really do make your legs go on for ever and the wedge heal is much easier to wear ( esp if the photos are on grass) than other heels. I've been wearing these to every slightly dressy event I go to. Look great with jeans and a sparkly top, or with an evening dress.

onlygirl · 18/06/2008 11:18

next have some prtty ones.

umma · 18/06/2008 21:24

Wow thanks everyone! I will have a good look at all the links....just had a quick look and I do like the Jones ones, would you still class them as silver?

Thanks again xx

pendulum, am I right in thinking you have the Jones shoes? Can I ask you how silvery they are? Do you think it would look strange if I wore these but the other bridesmaid had more shiny silvery shoes? aarrrhhhh, what to do? And I see they're reduced!!

(I don't know the other bridesmaid so can't discuss such things, like you normally would!)

lots of options on Next too, thanks!

umma, I don't have them (sadly didn't work colourwise with the wedding outfit I was shopping for- I bought a 'warmer' bronze pair instead)

But the shade is 'pewter'- they are still quite silvery but more like an antique jewellery colour than silver spray paint colour IYSWIM.

I have very pale skin and they looked good in a way that brighter metallics really wouldn't.

As for co-ordinating with the other bridesmaid- how long are your dresses and what colour? will they be v visible in photos? Not sure the guests will notice if they don't tone exactly, I never do at weddings....

umma · 19/06/2008 20:21

well that's the thing, dresses are knee lenght so legs will be in full sight! (gulp)

I really do like those ones so may just have to get them anyway!
