Does anyone use this? I see ads for it everywhere and I’m tempted to try.

Thanks all, some mixed reviews. I think I’ll give it a miss as I’m fairly pale and don’t want to look orange. I’ll keep looking.

I’m very pale, I’ma red head with grey eyes. Looks fine on me.

@fringetime
I use a Korean make called Eborian.

@QueenAstrid I use the palest Geller powder in the winter and it is definitely not orange. In the summer I might use one shade darker if I have had some sun, that isnt orange either.

PS I am also super pale, in the winter I look like a sickly ghost. And this is the nicest powder I have found for me.

I'm fair too and I use Rimmel Lasting Finish powder. It's buildable and gives a really nice coverage and feel. I also have the Laura Geller powder and I do actually prefer the Rimmel one. It also has an SPF which the LG doesn't.

It was too orange foe
my pale skin.

Same here.

It seemed to simultaneously look awful, while at the same time not being very discernible. I know that sounds impossible 🤷‍♀️

My favourite is Erborian CC Cream. The one that comes out white.
Ive recently discovered that the key to looking pretty flawless, rather than wearing full coverage foundation is the aforementioned CC Cream along with a touch of concealer round the sides of my nose and eyes.

I love it. I have oily skin and hate wearing lots of foundation so happy with some concealer and the baked powder. The medium is fine for my fair olive skin during the summer but I need the light one over winter. On the days I need a little more coverage I use the ordinary serum foundation (£6.40), it's basically a tinted moisteriser, in between concealer and the baked powder. I didn't like il makiage foundation, felt like very thick stage makeup.

I bought some just before Christmas. It just doesn't seem to do anything. Nothing comes off the cake so nothing goes on my face. I have watched a load of videos and they all seem to show it being generously applied with little effort.

I think i should try the money back guarantee too.

TheRemainsOfTheDayCream · 28/01/2026 17:30

I bought some a couple of weeks ago. Really wanted it to work, but it feels like a case of the emperor's new clothes for me. I don't feel as if any powder is going on my face and I just end up looking as if I haven't put any makeup on. Very disappointing.
