Need a dress URGENTLY

(Well actually that's a lie, I have a dress, I just don't like it anymore, and another dress, but I wore that to the same event last year)

Charity ball this Saturday night and need a black tie dress - will need to be urgent delivery given time frame. I'm 40, 5'1" so needs to be petite even though I'll be wearing heels, and a Size 6. I don't want anything with sleeves or a high neck (menopausal). Love a bit of sparkle and absolutely don't mind flashing a bit of flesh (especially boobs since they cost me a lot of money) but obviously want to still keep things classy.

Budget is absolutely as little as possible as I quite possibly may wear it once and stick it on Vinted.

I'm now wondering whether I can wear a mini dress I already have as others seem to be wearing shorter lengths as well - it's black velvet and sequin with a bardot/off the shoulder neckline (no sleeves)

Well that sounds fine to me; On the other hand, if you want something new, Monsoon have some great reductions.

I think your velvet dress sounds good. If you still prefer to go long, that red Quiz dress is a bit of find, and offers next-day delivery. There's an extra 10% off atm, too. If shoes are an issue, just whack a pair of kitten heels on the same order. Doesn't matter if they're plastic or whatever, it's only for one night.

I have bought some good value items from debenhams but hadn't needed to contact them. I find their website a bit fickle for ordering.
