How to remove facial hair?

Hi. I am 30YO and have always had fair peach fuzz on my face. However, it's now getting me down and lots of sprouts on my chin are bothering me. I am not inclined to regularly pluck, and it feels like I'd have to do this every day anyway.

What is the best way to remove fair facial hair?

to add: I have tried waxing twice but both times I had "skin lift" which was bloody awful and looked and felt like I'd been beaten up/carpet burnt. Is this standard or did I go to a bad beautician?
I had dermaplaning done once a few years ago and hated the stubble feeling of it growing back.

I would love to know this too.

I have recently bought a facial hair removal coil/ spring (about £4 from Amazon).

Best thing ever!

Oo I'll have a look. It is painful?

I use the Braun Face mini trimmer. I paid £26.99 for it. I bought it online but I’ve since seen it sold in Tesco. It’s battery powered, it’s fab.

A little on upper lip, however i think it'll get less painful, the more regularly you use it.

I've used an epilator on my legs for years, and find this (almost!) pain free now!

Waxing shouldn’t have lifted skin. That was a bad beautician.

For the downy hairs, I just use those wax strips you can get in the chemist. The hairs are light enough to lift with them. For thick ones I have had electrolysis and frankly that has been the only effective way of dealing with them. You are young. Get on top of those hair now.

I used an IPL on mine, I had PCOS and suffered badly with hair. Not just on my face but legs too. I don't have any now, every so often I just go over my face/legs in case a stray one appears but it doesn't seem to be happening.

If it’s peach fuzz type hair I would just shave it. I am blonde but have really thick peach fuzz hair on my face and I’ve been shaving it for about a year (previously got it threaded which was agony and a complete hassle). I use women’s disposable razors and just dry shave lightly every two weeks or so. It makes my skin really smooth and my make up goes on perfectly afterward. And no the hair doesn’t grow in any thicker or darker!
I have an IPL machine at home and use this for any thick black hairs and this is effective too.

I bought the Fuzz Off spray and blades. I do it once a month and it's brilliant.

You spray it on your face. It's like a fine mist of talc that highlights the hairs, you then use the blade to remove them.

Bit like dermaplaning your own face.

I use the picky wax and do it myself.

You asked me 4 months ago, 2 weeks after my first laser removal appointment, I would say laser hair removal as it literally got rid of all my facial hair. However I was unable to go back for my 5 weeks top up appointment due to illness and now I have a full beard, that connects to my sideburns and is travelling down my neck.

Oh that definitely doesn't sound ideal. Is that how it started or do you think it's gotten worse?

In the past year I’ve suddenly started growing peach fuzz on my face grr. Damn menopause I suppose. I just remove it with a dermablade whenever I see any. It takes seconds.

I use this one:

I just use the facial head on my epliator every few weeks. It is uncomfortable but not painful and its over in seconds
