Dyson Air wrap, shark, babyliss airwand or MD London?

I have seen saving for an Air wrap but since doing some research I don't really know what I want or need now?

I have thick mid length hair which has a bit of a kink to it (and tendency to go frizzy). I would usually blow dry it with my Dyson hairdryer and then finish it off with my Babyliss hot brush. However the latter has now broken and I don't know what to replace with.

I'm time poor and my hair takes ages to dry. I sometimes wear it straight and sometimes curly. Ideally I wanted something which would do everything in one (dry and style) to minimise the time but I'm not sure if that's what the air wrap does. It also gets mixed reviews and is the most expensive by far. I'm happy to pay for it though if it is worth it.

If you could choose, what would you go for? Help please!

Following with interest as in exactly the same position with my Babyliss on its last legs.

The Dyson Coanda 2x is the best hair tool I have ever used in my entire life and I wasnt a huge fan of the airwrap but this is the bomb. My hair looks amazing every day now, if it ever breaks I will legit cry- its very expensive but worth it.

I only have an airwrap, my hair is fine but a lot of it, and wavy. It’s great for a curly blow dry but takes an hour I’d say, as to make the blow dry last 3 days, I have to do it from wet and take really small sections. Looks too curly for a couple of hours, but then drops and is perfect.
if I do it from barely damp and higher sections it would drop out really quickly and just look a mess.
have to say I’m a hairdresser so obvs take proper sections and can’t do things slap dash. Hth!

I've just got the shark flex fusion and I love it! It dries so much quicker than my old hair dryer. I also had the babyliss and the shark is much better, it give better volume and my hair doesn't get tugged like it did by the babyliss. The fizz tool is amazing too. I've not tried the Curlers yet so I can't comment on them

Shark!!!!
Head and shoulders above the BBH( I broke 3 of them!)
I have the same hair as you, wavy , soooo bloody thick and would spend HOURS trying to tame it .
At night
I wash and condition, comb through and leave to dry then just before I go to bed use the Shark to blow dry , I use a spray in product and a heat spray.
Takes 7 minutes and its smooth, shiny and bouncy.
Apply a few drops of hair oil, silk turban in bed.
Next morning I use the other setting-I think its refresh but essentially using the hot plates not the blow dry setting to go over it and tweak.

Its a tiny bit heavy and noisy but nothing has made my hair look like this, I get so many compliments.
I only wash every other day so its not onerous plus leaving to dry naturally has improved the condition no end.
I would get a cheap wand to add curls on curly days

I got mine on offer BTW
Edit the blurb says hair needs to be 70% dry, you could blow dry if you don't want to let it dry naturally
Ps mine is the Shark freestyle so no added attachments

I bought teenage DD the Shark for Christmas as it was on offer in John Lewis and she loves it. Her favourite attachment is the smoothing brush then she finishes with the anti frizz and her hair looks so shiny.

I have the Dyson Coanda 2 and it's been life-changing. My hair looks good every day and it's very little effort. I haven't even tried curling it yet, this is just blow-drying straight.

I have thin and frizzy hair, the Dyson air wrap has been a god send. I love it and my hair looks more healthy now.

Edited

I googled Shark Freestyle and all that came up was a hoover 😂

I couldn’t get on with my Shark Speedstyle pro at all so I sold it on Vinted. Now I’m back to my Revlon OneStep which I love, but I’d hoped to up grade to something similar but faster. The hunt continues!

I have thick, wavy, frizz-prone hair that takes hours to get to 70% dry to be able to use the OneStep, and I need tension and smoothing with a brush. I can’t use a hairdryer and a brush in two hands.
