Deep plane vs two step mini facelift

I know deep plane is the holy grail that gets amazing results but the recovery time is obviously significant and not feasible for many who work and don’t want to have to declare their plans to the world!

Many of the deep plane surgeons now seem to only do that (as results are so much better I guess) which has started to make me really suspicious of those who offer alternatives.

I really like the idea of the two step mini lift just to tide me over until I leave work and can go all out for the full job.

Has anyone had one or researched this and give me their thoughts?

My issues are significant loose skin around my lower face/neck with jowls and sagging but I accept I would just be looking for a bit of an improvement rather than a full Kris Jenner transformation.

Kris Jenner’s surgeon only does SMAS lifts not deep plane, most people think she’s had an incredible result. Skill of the surgeon is more important than the overly hyped ‘deep plane’ lift imo.

Really? That’s interesting. Deep plane surgeons certainly seem very keen to emphasise the huge gulf between the two in terms of outcome. It’s making me suspicious of places that offer the less invasive version.

That said I have significant lower face and neck sagging and loose folds so not sure anything less than a full on hoik will be enough!
