In my early 40s, considering botox on my forehead lines.

Seeking advice - if you have done it, do you regret it and what should I be aware of? Thanks in advance!

Botox changed my life and brought me so much more confidence. I took my time researching and go to a licensed practitioner who had fantastic results. I now go 3x per year. Here's a pic of when I first had it done. I have 3 areas, I have hooded eyelids so little initially and more added at my review 2 weeks later.

Incredible.

Is there a way of avoiding the shiny forehead though?

Go for it, it’s defo worth it and you wish you would have done it sooner. It can make you look so much fresher.
As others have said, make sure you find someone reputable, not just some random beautician who does it on the side! My lady had been a nurse for over 30 years so she’s very experienced with injecting, she’s also a prescriber… and would know what to do if anything went wrong!

I’m in my 60s and have used the same nurse practitioner for Botox on crows feet lines and forehead lines since I was in my 40s.
It’s my treat to myself 3 times a year and I love the results.
The only negative issue I had was after my first session my eyelids drooped slightly for the first month. Not a massive issue but it made wearing contact lenses uncomfortable. She has now corrected where she injects and this has never occurred since.

Ive been having Botox for a forehead line for over 10 years. It was always great but sadly had to find a new person. This one hasn't worked out and I've been left with heavy brows pushing my eyelids down this time. Waiting for it to wear off and will be going to someone new and recommended by previous doctor. Go to a doctor.
