I fancy some wide leg jean and seen have some on the Monsoon website, just wondered how they usually fit.

While I was looking I also saw these (I know they are shoes!) but need something to go with the Jeans
wedges

Thier jeans are cut quite generously ime,but lovely quality.

Those wedges are lovely.

Yes - I have some jeans from Monsoon - agree they're cut generously, I was able to go down a size. And good for curvy people who can't normally find something that fits both waist and hips/bum. Love them.

Very nice, just a bit expensive for me for everyday. (I'm on the floor a lot and tend to go through the knees.) I find Next jeans are fine and a lot more reasonably priced.

thebecster · 11/06/2008 17:32

Oh no! Are they cut generously?? So I'm not a 12 after all? My monsoon jeans are the only thing I've bought in 9 months and I was so pleased that I hadn't changed size, despite thinking I'm a bit porkier. Dammit, dammit, dammit!

(I love the jeans though, they were definitely a good buy)

Like the wedges. Wish I could persuade DH to let me wear wedges. Oh I mean he won't physically stop me, he'll just point and laugh... Dammit again.

I might have to go a have a trying on session when I get a chance. I'll proably where the jeans for work so don't mind paying £45.

I'm going to be so disappointed if I don't squeeze into a smaller size now!

I'm a pear shape and had monsoon jeans a couple of years ago, and loved them. Really glad I saw this thread as I'd forgotten about them, and always find it hard to get a decent fitting pair of jeans.

cardy · 13/06/2008 16:26

I suppose I could call myself pear shaped (if I was being honest).

I'm pear shape and tried them on and they were too big round the waist - major gape.

And of the course the next size down were too tight round the bum.

So I either have a tiny waist or a big bum. Hmmmmmm

StripeyKnickersSpottySocks · 14/06/2008 13:09

Jeans I was talking about, not the capri pants.

twinsetandpearls · 14/06/2008 13:29

Yes I normally have that issue with jeans but not with monsoon ones.
