Swimsuit dilemma

Found one. It fits, it's the shape I like. All good but....it has this sort of pointless metal buckle business. It doesn't bother me in terms of comfort but metal buckles on swimsuits are horrible aren't they? Just a total fashion no no. Should I forget it and keep looking?

Depends where you need it for. Maybe a bit OTT for the local pool but fine for a holiday. Link?

nkf · 11/06/2008 09:38

It's in a shop so can't do links. So not a joke idea?

No I like buckles on cossies- I have a bikini with one on - very James Bond!

I have one with a round metal buckle and stringy sort of belt. I thought it looked a bit naff, but I get more compliments when I wear that cossie than any other.

If the fit and shape are perfect, then buy it. I bet you won't notice the buckle after five mins.

Can you do a link so we can judge properly?

I like the James Bond reference.
Can't do link as it's in a small lcoal shop.
Imagine a fairly low legged swimsuit with a cross over front. But at the end of the crossover is a buckle. Not tying anything, just sitting there.

That sounds fine! You'll be the envy of the pool.My rule is, if it fits - buy it.

nkf · 11/06/2008 09:46

You know what? I will.
