Crepey Skin and old Lady Hands

I have really crepey forearms and my skin is also quite dry. Looks worse after losing 3 stone over last six months on WLI. Myhands are also really wrinkled and very visible veins. My hands look about 20 years older than the rest of me! I am 55 and otherwise quite youthful looking with only very fine lines on my face.

any recommendations for improving my arms and hands really appreciated, having lost the weight I want to buy some nice clothes for spring / summer but my arms really put me to shame.

I put a little tretinoin on my hands.
You can have hyaluronic acid injections in your hands to improve appearance, if that is what you’re looking for.
Creams will do very little beyond hydrate.
Congrats on your weight loss.

Thanks @goldbar31just have no clue when it comes to skincare and years of being overweight and not caring! Will look into injections..

Go to the gym and lift weights to improve you arms. As your muscles grow stronger your skin won’t be as baggy

I've always had slim arms, lost weight on wli and skin then became crepey on inside of elbow, forearms and hands. Gym didn't help, only gaining back some weight made it better. I'm in my 60's and started wli with 29bmi + other conditions.
The crepey skin started at 26.5 bmi and nowhere else is affected. I don't know if it's age related or not, OP.

OP, have a look at the language you're using to describe ageing. There's nothing shameful about getting older. I hope you can feel better about yourself and stop worrying about surface things that really don't define you. I think my hands and arms have aged as you describe but imo we both need to accept these changes as part of life. Neither of us are going to get any younger so why spend our lives trying to fight it? Just take care of yourself and cultivate your inner happiness. You are more than the skin on your arms!

Buy a light mask, you can get ones for the face or neck, but you could easily use it on your hands. Not sure if they do one specifically for hands but worth a look. It's really important to buy one with the near infrared on it. The near infra is invisible and it's weird when you can't actually see the light, but it's been proven to work, and helps skin to rebuild the collagen. Consistency is key, you have to treat the area regularly, but you will see a difference after a few weeks .

I’m 53 and my hands are 80. Awful! I really look after them too, apply SPF daily, wear rubber gloves etc. I’ve also lost lots of weight on WLI, and I think every trace of fat in my hands has gone.

I was moaning about this to my Botox practitioner and she said several of her clients have profhilo injections in their hands. She showed me before and after photos and it really makes a difference. I’ve booked in to try it in January.

Also curious about any solutions that don't require injections.

I'm 47 years old with a very tall, generally medium build. However my hands have minimal fat so they are showing my age.
