Anyone had any experience of getting tretinoin from Dermatica?

After reading some threads on here, I decided to try and get tretinoin through Dermatica.

I did the questionnaire thing, but when I got the email (after I'd paid!) it told me they were going to send me ivermectin, metronidazole and azelaic acid lotion.

I guess I can cancel this subscription (it only cost £2.90 as a first month offer, so not the end of the world), but how do I guarantee actually getting the tretinoin?!

Anyone had a similar experience?

That’s a surprise, they have been so good with me. COVID severely damaged my skin barrier (according to my GP). I uploaded photos to Dermatica and they changed my prescription and sent the updated lotion for free.

I also missed some communication quite recently, about confirming a change to my prescription meaning I was confirming the earlier treatment which they sent. When I I contacted them to say the lotion hadn’t been updated (my fault), they sent the updated version for free too.

Can’t fault them.

I stumbled across this video yesterday and have found it v helpful.

her advice to stay at the lowest dose but scale up frequency is helpful and what I’d decided to try. I can’t get past the Lower levels so to hear that lower levels are as effective and higher levels more for acne is reassuring.

it means I just order the strength I need on repeat from dermatica. And don’t need to reorder very much; I think it’s lasting two months at the moment which is more affordable.

I’ve always found Dermatica to be very helpful. You can
change the strength of the tret and adjust the frequency of delivery to two monthly if you like.
