What can I do to help my thin hair

A combination of mounjaro and perimenopause have left me with practically no hair.
It is thinning at the hair line, and basically like candy floss. I’ve already had it cut quite short to minimise the effect but it just looks awful and straggly and shit all the time.
I use Champo broth serum which gives new growth but never seems to progress past baby hair, and have tried pretty much every thickening product on the market. Help please.

I’m 41 and think mine has been caused by perimenopause. It’s been really upsetting so watching your thread and hoping for some recommendations. Mine is also impossibly greasy which makes me feel even worse.

You need a blood test and find out what you are deficient in so hair can grow optimally

I needed vit d, iron and vit c for absorption and loads of folic acid

You can go for minoxydil but you have to commit (if you stop or break even a week or so the new hair will all shed.) i'm giving the vitamins a chance first

Have you tried minoxodil? My hair thinned in menopause and I did hrt and the whole pumpkin seed oil/ saw palmetto and it stopped thinning as much but didn't come back properly. I decided to try minoxodil through Hair and Me and it is making a huge difference, you can see all the new hairs coming in

I found my hair thinning with peri - especially round the hairline, but just generally being able to see my scalp more. I’ve read and heard from a scalp specialist that red light has been shown to help female pattern hair loss so Ive been using my red light mask on my head every night and have definitely seen a difference - I was just saying it to my husband tonight. There are specific helmets you can buy from places like current body, but I have just been using a red light mask I already have - so not specifically for hair. Hope you find something that helps you.

Collagen has done wonders for my hair and nails, have also just added in Biotin to my peri-meno supplements too so hoping for further results to come.

My hair thinning issues have been caused by menopause, thyroid issues and genetics.

I was using minoxidil but unsure if it was making a difference so recently stopped (it’s also quite expensive).

I started taking collagen tablets recently and it might just be a coincidence but the hair shedding has really reduced.

Vitamin D and and Iron supplements.

And my hairdresser (who lost her hair) recommended Grow Me hair growth shampoo from amazon. Very reasonably priced. Ive only been using it for a week or so but hopefully it will make a difference.

It is not what you put on your hair it is what you put into your body

i was low on iron and am peri (age 52) , and daily floradix (iron plus B6 and B12) in combination with hrt have really helped my hair a lot! And generally eating well and living healthily helped too
