Finery London - old lady or OK?

I'm not in the first flush of youth (or even in my prime!) but I'm looking for a new dress.

I've seen a couple I like on the Finery website but I've got a feeling they're the sort of stuff my granny might have worn (not in her heyday, in her dotage!).

Help an (old) girl out! Are they OK or is it another site like Roman Originals?

I’m jumping on to defend the OP as I think she might be from the same era as me 😁. Years ago, older women did dress in a certain way that today would seem old fashioned. OP was probably just remembering what her granny wore and recognising that in some of the styles from Finery. There’d be no offense intended.

I’ve got a Finery dress which I bought from M&S. I’ve worn it to the theatre and it feels great to wear. It’s long with long sleeves so a style I like. I don’t wear short skirts or dresses. I wouldn’t go to the theatre in Uniqlo clothes they are far too basic and casual in my opinion.
I don’t buy clothes to look younger. I don’t wear the same clothes as my 20 something dd who is ripped and has a bmi of 18 at the max, sometimes less. I doubt she would wear anything from Finery but then I don’t wear clothes that she does.
I like the dress I have. It’s a deep green which is a colour I wear a lot.
If you like it buy it.
