I am going on holiday with a group of friends and their children and was really looking forward to it until one of my friends said "have you bought your bikini yet?". Ah.

So, any brand suggestions which have good support for very wobbly caesarian tummy? Also still BF so rather humungous on top (size 16 up from pre PG size 10).
My DD is 10 months and frankly I wouldn't have swanned around in swimwear before!
I basically need something with plenty of corsetry which turns me into a 5'3" version of elle macpherson. One piece (obviously).

My friends are all size 8 max despite having 3 kids each if that makes you take pity on me at all!!

tankini and a big 'fuck off see if i care' smile.

BBBee · 09/06/2008 22:22

(yeah - sorry I didn;t really give you much to go on but am crap at this kind of thing - just a supportive and enthusiatic 'bump')

ChukkyPig · 09/06/2008 22:33

Won't my belly just hang out of a tankini though? Maybe I should ask my mum. But then she will give my belly a sharp glance and draw her breath in sharply and take me to John Lewis. Like always. Even if I need a handbag!

bravissimo tankinis may help.

i wish my mum would take me to john lewis, i have to take her!

ChukkyPig · 09/06/2008 22:54

Fishie thank you! But the gorgeous one has gone... Best get in quick for the others...

Incidentally, I drive her, she just looks askance at my taste, always says "well it's OK, I suppose" to anything I try on, then we go for a cup of tea and a cake. I don't like tea or cake and have a coke. Which she raises an eyebrow at. I go home and have a stiff drink!!!

Really you don't want to go to John Lewis with my mum. I go because, after all, she is my mum, and we can finally agree on fashion if it's for my DD!

chukkypig

don't have any recommendations, but remember, you are 'humungous on top' - ie have fabulous breasts. Show them off, the size 6 skinnies will be !

snice · 09/06/2008 23:02

You need Lands End

ChukkyPig · 09/06/2008 23:09

Gosh snice they are beautiful. Really lovely.

Just clicked on something that marilyn monroe might have worn.

Was nearly £100 though..

Anyone what to buy a baby? Or, a night with my DH? Or me???
