My GHD is dead so I’m going to buy a new hairdryer

i I haven’t had any complaints with my ghd, but it hasn’t lasted as long as I’d liked

so any recommendations?
I have fine, flyaway, bobbed hair

I love my Parlux dryer. I had a previous one that lasted over 10 years. Super powerful and WAY better than any of the basic hairdryers I'd used in the past

So many parlux, which do you have?

Also have a parlux and it’s fantastic.

I've got a Parlux too, the 385 Light. It's fabulous, I love it.

Are they terribly heavy??
I was looking at the Shark Flex too

I have the Parlux 3500 SuperCompact Ceramic Ionic, after doing a LOT of research.
If im totally honest, I've been a bit disappointed given the amount of time I spent researching and the amount of money I spent, it doesnt really give me much of a different output than the hairdryer I was using before, which was a 12 year old GHD hairdryer (the first one GHD actually made, I think)
I've had it for 8 months now and im just not sure I'll bother again, annoyingly in that time I used a cheap babyliss travel hairdryer in an airbnb and it was amazing! Should have made a note of the model.
I would love to try a Dyson or a Shark to see if its worth it, but noone i know owns one that I could borrow.

I have had a Shark and a Dyson. I stupidly gave my MIL my Dyson when I bought the Shark and I actually don't like the Shark one at all but can't ask for my Dyson back!! So now I am using a £20 babyliss one from boots lol xx

I also have a shark flex and that can be used as a hair dryer and honestly it’s rubbish fantastic for curling my hair but don’t like it as a hair dryer.

I have a random one I bought off Amazon, it has a cold setting which I love. My hair is very fine too and a good blast with cold air seems to give it volume and shine.

I have fine flyaway hair too. Long bob. My Dyson supersonic with the smoothing coanda attachment was a great investment. Well worth the money. Now I never use straighteners and I’m not damaging my hair with high temperatures.
