Clinique mild facial soap bar discontinued !!!

I’ve just found out that my favourite soap that I’ve used for about 40 years is being discontinued and I’m devastated! I have sensitive dry skin and never found anything that suits my skin as much as this one. I use the mild version. It’s selling for between £30 and £60 a bar on eBay but I can’t justify spending that much on a bar of soap

Does anyone else use this soap or does anyone have any suggestions for alternatives please. I prefer bar soap rather than liquids

I was having problems finding the Clinique one too and switched to
La Roche-Posay Lipikar Surgras Anti-Dryness Cleansing Bar. Actually prefer it to the Clinique one and it is cheaper (around £9) and lasts ages. Great for dry or sensitive skin.La Roche Posay

I use that or the Avène Cold Cream bar

La Roche Posay Lipikar is incredibly gentle. My paediatrician recommends it for newborns with reactive skin and we’ve been using it for DD for 5 years. Really recommend it.

I’ve ordered one of these but it’s coming from Spain so eagerly awaiting it

They're probably doing you a favour- there's much better and gentler ways to cleanse sensitive skin than this soap.

Not really. I used it for years and am struggling to find something as good (for me).

What is your suggestion?

You can still get clinique bar soap at online usa, they are out of stock at moment but they are the only branch which kept it on, they won't post internationally but you can pay for a US address or get someone you know to send it when back in stock, good luck

I too was unhappy about my fav clinique facial soap bar with dish discontinued, however I have now found Rituals Facial Cleansing bar. You can order it it on the Rituals website. Its really creamy lasts ages and my skin feels great - same price but it is a tad smaller than the clinique version. Hope this helps :-)

Sorry, OP, no suggestions. My favourite perfume "Clinique Wrappings" was discontinued aged ago. Someone one here recommended Perfume Parlour, "Enclosed for Women", as a dupe...nope, not available.
I'm still grieving, years on.

Just came on to say that I’ve been using the CeraVe soap bar mentioned earlier in the thread for about 2 weeks. Happy with its so far, no skin irritation and it’s made my skin feel very soft and looks clear. The only place I can see it for sale is on eBay, so I wonder if it’s another US only one. (I bought mine off eBay).

I’ve also just received the La Roche Posay Lipikar (from Spain!). I won’t use that until I’ve used all the CeraVe but will report back in the future

Edited:This was in response to the poster who can’t understand why we use soap as in her opinion it’s not good for anyone. Grateful for alternative suggestions

I'm happy with pure soap or baby soap, but soft water helps a lot. Soap is fine if rinsed off thoroughly.
