I have what you could call "smokers lines", not from smoking but the bad habit of chewing the inside my mouth (lips kind of pursed.) Im trying really hard to break the habit, but also wondering what i can use to ease these lines.

Product suggestions welcome, thanks.

I’ve tried a lot of things that didn’t work, tretonin, Botox and skin pen micro needling.

I did a session of CO2 secret pro laser (lots of downtime) and it definitely helped.
Three years later and they’re starting to come through again. Don’t know what I’ll do because I can’t fit in the downtime at the moment.

What do you mean time by lots of downtime? Is it very painful or unsightly?

Both, painful then swelling and peeling for 7-10 days.

I’ve been thinking about CO2 laser for lip lines, the downtime worried me.

Botox is very effective but it can leave you finding it difficult to say you b’s and p’s for a couple of weeks - just a warning. It costs around 75 to have every 6-8 weeks
CO2 laser will be the most effective option if you can deal with downtime
