Luxury budget - gift to self

My husband has given me a significant sum of ‘spending money’ to go shopping and treat myself this weekend. I used to be an avid luxury shopper with great relationships in boutiques with sales associates but for approx. the last 2-3 years I’ve had other priorities so no longer in the loop with the latest collections/trends. On the rare occasion I’ve enquired about something I do like, I’ve pretty much been told that it is a wish list/popular/pre-order item which has led to no further follow up… I assume this is because I don’t spend frequently enough to entertain anymore 😬.

Please help with inspiration as to what I could/should buy on a luxury budget.

I was going to suggest something like the puzzle would work as a “mum errands” bag.

If that’s not for you (or maybe as well as?!) perhaps some really nice flat shoes or boots? Some Chanel ballet flats, or Jimmy choo boots. I’m sure you could get that glam feeling from a more sensible choice.

i would happily spend this on a Loewe flamenco bag

Depending on the amount I know what I’d buy - a really lovely classic wristwatch that I could wear everyday and hopefully pass on when I’m gone

Hello,

I thought I would update the thread after my shopping trip. I didn’t find anything I liked enough to part with money for in Harrods aside from a few lipliners. I’m trying to make a bit more of an effort with make up and have lots of other products but not lipliners. The Loewe puzzle didn’t sit well on me but i quite liked the gucci Jackie and the Celine lulu I posted about previously. I also tried on the LV low key but found the lock a little bright as its shiny gold. I went to Bicester village the following week and purchased a beautiful Fendi puffer jacket at 50% off retail that made me feel amazing when I tried it on. Thankfully it had very little branding but looked and felt luxurious and I’ve worn it lots already! I feel stylish at the side of the rugby field so it has ticked all the right boxes for the reasons to have purchased. I also bought a a pre-loved Chanel 19 for almost half the price of the brand new one I saw in boutique. I didn’t feel it was worth the £5.5k price tag but my friend said she was planning to send hers off to consignment and had been offered £2.8k for it and so I decided to buy it from her as it was practically unworn. Again, I’ve used it lots already as it’s very casual and easy to wear. I still have a little bit left over to play with so will be keeping an eye out over the festive period for anything that catches my eye. Thank you for all the helpful recommendations and helping me find love for the things I used to enjoy.
