We don't want to look like Eva Longoria - eh? Speak for yourselves!

Sorry, but imo, Tilda needs make up.

Bolleaux frankly.

IMO, only a select few can honestly look great without any make up at all. Deffo some mums at school that have gorgeous skin and look lovely but for the majority that don't wear it, I think they need it as they look haggard and frumpy and, er, shit (but they don't dress well either so that doesn't help).

I'm a very shallow creature.

Lucy Ewing wore loads of make-up in Dallas.

Gobbledigook · 08/06/2008 16:34

And as for looking younger, twas not 3 weeks ago, wearing make up as I always do, I was asked if I was over 18 when buying wine in Sainsbury's. ARf!

If it is copied from here, are they allowed to do that and pass it off as their own work?

I have a feeling that those mags in the Sunday papers are prepared more than 2 days in advance, so it would be a physical impossibility to have copied the MN thread from Thurs/Fri

Am prepared to be corrected by someone with insider knowledge though

Gobbledigook · 08/06/2008 16:40

Hmm, am not convinced. I am in my routine now - put make up in about 2 mins. Would feel odd to leave it off. Might try it tomorrow and see how it looks!

I follow this rule, from Sybil Thorndike in the Prince and the Showgirl (talking about Marilyn Monroe):
'
The Queen Dowager: "Sweetly pretty. She should use more mascara. When one is young, one should use a lot of mascara. When one is older, one should use much more."

Moi looking divine

ZacharyQuack · 08/06/2008 22:36

Cod, do you usually wear a lot of mascara?

[hides]

zippitippitoes · 08/06/2008 22:42

good i dont ewar mascara because it looks pants and spidery on my hardly there lashes and always has done

in fact i dont wear much

and presumably oidont look absolutely ancient ad bf hardly allows me more than 60 secs to put anything like moisturiser and foundation and blusher bronzer that is all i do and as soon as pick i something up he says you look fine dont bother

which is obvs a lie so i say its just mosituriser
