The Beldray one is excellent. Its rechargeable & the case clicks together nicely. I've owned a few & this is the best one I've had so far. Don't bother with the higher priced 2 speed one & do empty it frequently.

I have a Philips one which cost 15 quid and is really decent.

The best debobbler I've found is the Redecker one from the Oxford Brush Company in Burford (online shop available) at £12.95. Purely mechanical but genius... wish I had bought one for my sister too!

I've tried others- battery and otherwise but this is the best I've ever used

That ripped my jumpers.

This is meant for carpets

I've also used the Lakeland lint remover on very doggie haired cashmere. You do have to be very careful & it can catch on the wool, but if the alternative is throwing the jumper away it's worth trying. It also works for removing dried on sourdough stains, that are impossible to remove any other way.
