Can I buy a jersey cotton nightie with build in hidden support and will the support be sufficient to hold breast pads in place?

Just had baby number 3 and milk's coming in. I can't bear the thought of having to sleep in a bra like I've done previously. I have one pair of maternity pjs that have hidden support in the top part and they seem to hold pads in place reasonably well. Does a nightie equivalent exist?

Hope that makes sense.

Clip down breastfeeding straps would be a bonus, but sure I could cope without!

Thanks.

I have never seen one, although that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Good luck with your search.

You know you could have a gap in the market there, maybe you should make some and sell them.

Had a quick trawl but I can't find anything remotely like it.

Vertbaudet have a nightie with clips but it's difficult to tell whether it has support inside from the pictures.

Otherwise can't you wear a sleep bra? They are very soft and a lot cheaper than buying new nighties

Have you tried the silicon breast pads? I wore them with DC 2 and never wore a bra in bed, here
(i do have small norks though)

AS a woman with big boobs I would love a nightie with built in support, soupkitchen the link does not work,

tassisssss · 08/06/2008 11:31

Thanks to all who've looked...i was sure such a thing'd exist. Bother.

i know M&S do vest tops with hidden support for about £4, I guess I could wear them with wee pj short bottoms...

I've just bought a sleep bra, it's really comfy not like a normal nursing bra.

I didn't get on with lilypadz (the silicon type things someone else was talking about) I found they leaked (I'm a sprayer) and gave my nips a rash if used for a couple of days (I think my nips like the air) I would have probably got on better after a few months when the milk supply calms down.

SoupKitchen · 08/06/2008 11:35

sorry guys here

Mojomummy · 08/06/2008 19:32

I second the lilypadz but also wore them with a sleep bra. I had a very comfortable one from mothercare. Perhaps you could try one that's a bit bigger around the ribs ?

Or try H&M maternity, they might have something.
