Moisturisers for Acne Rosacea

I am at my wits' end trying to find a moisturiser that doesn't make it worse! I am currently using Clinique Redness Solutions and can't leave the house after applying, in case I scare children! It does settle eventually, but it can take a good couple of hours! There must be something better out there!

There is something better but it's not a moisturiser. Find out if any of the treatment clinics in your area offer IPL for rosacea. I found even one session hugely beneficial. I do a course of 3 or 4 every year or two and it really keeps it at bay. Didn't find Soolantra or other creams helpful.

I have rosaceae but no spots but ultra sensitive skin.

I use CeraVe Lotion (not the cream)
Clinique Dramatically Different moisturiser
Aveeno calming range

I’ve tried loads! I liked the origins mega mushroom lotion. Currently using a combination of la Roche posay serozinc spray, effaclar AZ gel cream and
Erborian cc red correct. My skin has completely calmed down.

I have been using the La roche posay moisturiser and its good for dry skin. Here goes my routine if you would be interested:
Morning:
Using water to wash your face,
Sebamed clear face gel,
Garnier spf
Cicaplast
Evening:
LRP moisturizer,
Tretinoin (0.1) from skinorac
Sebamed clear facial gel

Avene or Roche Posay. They do ranges for rosacea. Thermal water and lovely and calming. Both ranges really helped me and the rosacea is gone. Avoid hot water on the face. I also found winter weather and central heating a nightmare, so I used rich moisturiser and kept topping up. Even if you have acne, it’s important to moisturise to help prevent scarring.
Good luck!

I'd try and get a sample of LRP first if you're very reactive, it's no good for me at all and burns like crazy.

I use Clinique sheer hydrator moisture surge with SPF in & Azaleic acid cream to calm down my Rosacea.
I think these work better than other alternatives.
Rosehip oil at night can also be soothing.

I had IPL a few years ago & it made very little difference to my Rosacea. Laser was a lot more effective. Recently losing weight & a healthier diet has really reduced the inflammation.

Soolantra cleared mine up, miraculous stuff.
