Age 50, skin drier and looking like my cheeks have dropped!

So not that I want to moan 😄 however, who hit 50 and things changed??
So I noticed my face change shape since reaching 50, things kind of started to sag, not only that but my eye lids are kind of more wrinkly, my overall face looks drier even though I have a routine going on here and my neck is really itchy, like its hives all over, but then I started HRT and the hot flushes and all sorts stopped which is great, but the dry skin on the face, the neck, the lack of plumpness has gone and also the overall appearance just looks duller, arghh!!

Has anyone got any tips or had any miraculous miracles to help with this fabulous grand age of change going on in us women!! 😂

Thank you so much...

The only thing that will fill your cheeks is fillers. Or being plump. There’s a reason Catherine Deneuve said at a certain age we have to choose between our face and our ass!

You can improve the appearance of your skin with hydration and skincare. But there’s not much you can do to stop the drop. I think there’s an element of genetics as some faces seem to drop more than others.

I think you are right there but not too sure I want to indulge in those fillers just yet, I saw some people do face exercises thinking ok could I try this and if collagen works per se?

Your body will put collagen everywhere it’s needed long before it puts it in your face. It will prioritise muscles etc.

I’ve read people on here are taking it and seeing results but I’m massively sceptical. I do take a vegan collagen gummy myself and not sure it makes much difference, perhaps the marine stuff works better.

I wouldn’t go near fillers either! I’m sure face yoga wouldn’t hurt so worth a try, wonder what happens when you stop though? Back to square one?

Yes could be, as I guess its like going to the gym, the more you work on your muscles the more your face corresponds well to it when stopping it sags more so im on you tube and so many to choose from but only have about 5 mins in the morning at the moment its always time isnt it!

Not a miraculous thing but you just have to consistent. I have been maintaining my routine for quite sometime after some research and will share here if that provides any help:
Morning:
Using water to wash your face,
Sebamed clear face gel,
Garnier spf
Evening:
Cerave moisturizer,
Tretinoin (0.1) from skinorac
Sebamed clear facial gel
