When do people start wearing Christmas jumpers? 1st December or before then?

Very Christmassy? Any time after Bonfire night if attending Christmas related event and just anytime from mid until the end of December.

Just wintery jumper a fair isle style? Anytime when it’s less than +5 C outside.

Never! Don’t own one and don’t really get it. But plenty do! I tend to avoid the sort of events where they are worn if at all possible. If its that kind of day at the office ill wfh and if people put Christmas jumper on the invite to anything i’d try not to attend. Surely not pre December?

I’ve got a few different jumpers so I’m going to start wearing them this week to get some use out of them

Never
Please!

First outing is usually mid November when I go on a Christmas shopping weekend with friends, then when putting Christmas decorations up and on a Christmas shopping day with hubby...both at the end of November .... I wear one (a different one!) every day in December. I have at least 25 accumulated over many years 🤣 I also have Christmas leggings, dresses, a skirt and some Christmas trainers. 🎄

I don’t own one as I wouldn’t wear it, but the DCs start to wear them during November so they get a bit of use out of them before they’re outgrown.

Thanks all.So some PPs won’t entertain the idea of wearing Christmas jumpers, while some go all out!
Think I’ll start wearing mine sooner rather than later.

I saw one in the wild in early September this year. They're not my thing, but wear what you want when you want if it makes you happy and makes other people smile.

I used to wear Christmas jumpers a lot, including to work. I started in mid-November and kept going until the first couple of days of January.

I now work in a much smarter environment, so I only wear Christmas clothing at weekends now. I'll probably start in a couple of weeks.

December. I don’t have any but my uni aged DD has a few - some fairly subtle (like the fair isle you mention that has robins incorporated), some a bit more obvious (a sweatshirt of dogs with sparkly hats). Nothing as out there as a merry swiftmass (sounds awful)!
The only people who should wear things like Rudolf with a lit up nose are nursery or primary teachers or who otherwise work with kids.
