Switching to a shampoo bar - does it just take a while or are there better ones?

I’ve wanted to try a shampoo bar for a while and am doing it now, but finding it a bit hard work. At the moment am using a slightly random one I bought on holiday. My hair looks quite good, less frizzy, but feels oddly stiff and as if it still has product on it when I touch it.

A friend who swears by her one says it takes a few weeks for the hair to adjust to it. Or should I just buy a better one? Or rinse it more?

I'm using Nope. My hair is very fine and gets greasy easily. Happy with Nope after 18 months use.

I tried a lot Kitsch were the first ones that were actually good for me. And now I like quite a few. But Kitsch was the one that let me transition without having waxy hair.

I've tried a few different ones (Yorkshire Soap Company, Friendly, random ones that I've found in various shops along the way, etc.). My wild, dry and frizzy hair thinks that only the Garnier ones are acceptable. Also, the argan oil one smells fabulous.

I'm yet to find a conditioner bar that the hair approves of. So far, they've all been greasy, and my hair is usually dry.

Not mad on them. Have use loads as my hair thick. Hair was still greasy next day.
