Does anything really give hair density, thickening, even growth for thinning hair?

I've had thinning hair on the top part of my head for about 5 years (started with covid in 2020 but also menopausal.

It's only the top part of my head, and the rest of my hair is as dense as it always has been.

In some light such as bathroom light, I can see my scalp and it's upsetting.

Has anyone used any products apart from minoxidil that actually made a difference, I'd love to see new growth but if that's a pipedream, then styling products to make the hair look thicker.

My problem is that Minoxidil isn't recommended for women over 65 Sad

However, I think I might take a trip to Costco to get the collagen shots.

Another vote for collagen, after a few months my hair was def better, been off it 4mo now and its shitty again...going back on!

Minoxidil foam 5% (the men’s version), use once a day. I apply at night as part of my skincare routine. I was recommended this by a dermatologist I paid private to see because of hair thinning. Also get your ferritin (iron) levels checked. If under 90 this will cause thinning even though GP may say your levels are ok for general health. If low, you can supplement with iron
