Best knickers for holding in one's tummy in a tummy hugging dress

I am going to a wedding on Saturday and I can't face holding in my tummy all day.

Does anyone know of any good ones that do not just push everything up above the waist band to create a rather unattractive roll? My tummy is not huge, just one the flabby side

primark do magic knickers now for a fiver they hold in the waist tummy and thighs and go right up to under your breast line. i wore mine over my hold in pants from m and s for extra effectiveness

Spanx are brilliant IMO. I have got the ones that look like cycling shorts. Entirely unattractive but very effective and not too uncomfortable.

Spanx, definitely - expensive but like lipo. Buy the ones that go right up to yoru bra and attach to it, so then you can wear proper bra but don't get that top of the magic knickers overhang. Oh and they're crotchless for going for a wee!!!

But soooo good to take them off and release the flab at the end of the night!
