What top with black velvet trouser suit?

I have a series of black tie related work events this autumn. I've ordered a black velvet trouser suit and am hoping to recycle it for as many of them as possible but am struggling a bit to think about what to wear for a top.

I've ordered a white satin shirt as one classic option but would like another option: would love a burgundy/ wine coloured something, greens also suit me.

I'm 10/12 but stomach not as flat as it used to be - never recovered from large baby - so prefer nothing too clingy or tight around waist.

Any ideas gratefully received!

I think the brown one would work but not the all black one.

Silk T shirt or camisole

I've tried the trouser suit on this morning and am really happy with the fit. It's the Boden one if anyone is researching. Just waiting for tops to arrive ... [drums fingers].

Oh the Boden velvet trouser suits look lovely. I am very tempted by the green jacket.

Definitely a real silk top with a gorgeous bow at the neck. In a jewel colour that suits you best.
