Fair Isle Style jumper

I am looking for a Fair Isle style jumper for this winter. I have a few requirements - must have a high percentage of wool rather than being 100% polyester, decent quality, budget £60 to £90 ish which rules out the brands like Eribe and Brora.

I found a nice one on Seasalt (in pic) which is 80% merino and 20% nylon but I'm not keen on the colours, it reminds me too much of my old school uniform. Any other options which clever people may be able to suggest?

I was looking at those earlier - I quite like the grey/pink colourway.

I have just ordered a fair isle type jumper this week from House of Bruar. Available in several colourways, pure wool, £110 but I successfully used an online discount code at checkout for 10% off. Try code HB25, which I think should be valid to end of October.

Celtic - might just squeak into your price bracket. And they often have decent sales stuff. Can vouch for quality

I bought one in TKMAXX yesterday, Paul Costello brand and not on their site. I think it 59% wool, £29.99 and comes in three colour ways from memory. Mine is sage green and the fair isle is cream. These jumpers are my holy grail and I’ve spent a lot looking for the perfect one! Obviously can’t give any indication re how this will last but it feels nice!

Yes would consider cotton but don't want a high neck! I have found a couple on TK Maxx too but websites don't make it easy to see what things are actually made of.

I was in TK Maxx on Saturday and they were 100% wool. I nearly bought one, but saw that they were handwash only so didn't bother.

Google Harley of Scotland, I’ve got a few, 100% wool, my oldest one must be ten years old so worth the investment.

Came here to suggest Harley too!

I realky love cotton jumpers. I am rubbish at wool. I bought a wee jumper dress from Frugi for my toddler. It is adorable. I paid nearly £50, because I loved it. She took it off and stuck it in the wash basket, I gathered the washing (I keep hand-wash stuff ina separate basket).

Yes, I put it in the machine accidentally. It is ruined. She wore it for 3 hours and it is felted 😪
