god knows when I last had a facial

probably 20 years ago

I do the odd facepack, take make up off at night but nothing more really

I want someone to attack my face with a high pressure hose

do you have facials, how often, with whom and how much?

[gets out mag mirror and cries]

I have a dermalogica facial when I can afford it and also use all of their products and it has really improved my skin - when I came out after the first one I was amazed at how much skin looked - they do something called 'facial mapping' and work out a personalised routine including cleansing, expoliation, extraction, moisturise, head massage and other stuff that I can't remember.

I only do the basics for everyday (cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise) and then a weekly mask. Think it cost me £35 last time I went. I would definitely recommend.

I would definitely recommend the guinot one (hydrodermy)- they have this special roller thing with electrical currents they roll over your face which opens your pores without the need for steam (you don't feel a thing, I promise, just a bit of a funny taste when it goes past your fillings)- soooo much more effective than steaming. They get EVERYTHING out!!! I had very bumpy skin (blackheads deeeeeeeeeeeeep in the skin) at one stage so went for a hydrodermy then series of 3 of their fruit peel facials (once a week - which helped get rid of the hard layer of skin on top) then hydrodermies monthly after that. In about 3 months I looked like a different person. I cannot recommend highly enough. My next favourite is Dermalogica but I'd say I only like that 40% as much as Guinot. And please don't have an Elemis facial - just as expensive but they do no extractions which was so not worth it for me (basically a very expensive massage). I love facials (even though they can be a bit sore, the massage after extraction is lovely) can you tell???

lol at Peach

yes guinot looks good but it is expensive, do you have to have the full course or will just one session do?
