Tummy tuck for c-section overhang - worth it?

I'm not sure I'd go ahead with it but anyone had this done? Did it improve things? I used to have a nice stomach. I haven't gained any weight or been overweight but just the way it ended up it's now an obvious bump.

I had a tummy tuck after 3 c-sections and massive weight loss. The more weight I lost the worse the loose skin got/the more it hung down. Best thing I ever did!

I wish I’d done it. Too late now really.

I've got it booked for two weeks time! So excited but a bit nervous too lol.

I agree that the more weight you lose the worse the overhand looks. I had 2 huge babies and then was quite heavy for a long time. Now I've lost 4 stone and am a size 12 I decided to take the plunge as nothing fits properly or looks good anymore!

Best thing I’ve done for me. @Coaster1 I was 61 when I had mine done. I came across someone recently who was 70.

I am currently saving up for a tummy tuck and breast uplift after 2 sections and 3 stone weight loss

Considering this, how much does it cost?

what is the recovery like?

I had a 360 for several reason (3 being babies) and my stomach is flat with a bit of loose skin. It was transformative.

I paid £12k for mine, had it on finance through a specialist finance company that deals with cosmetic surgery. One payment left to go…. 🥳

Recovery was tough. You’ll need help the first week with things like going to the toilet, fetching food/drinks etc. You have to sleep slightly sat up with a pillow under your knees. It wasn’t too different to a c-section but the wound (in my case, anyway) was bigger. I think the fitter you are going into it, the faster the recovery. I was walking 3 miles twice a day by 3 weeks and back running 6 weeks 1 day after.

I had lyposuction too. The itching was insane! Slept with a coat hanger for 2 weeks!

Just make sure you keep the weight off if you go down that route
