Wavy hair - help!!

I’m 53 and menopausal. As I’ve gone more grey, my previously straight hair has become more wavy and sadly frizzy. I’ve decided to try and ditch the straighteners. I’ve been searching for products but there’s an overwhelming choice. My hair is just below my jaw, wavy rather than proper curly and a bit dry at the ends. It’s pretty fine and added to that, I’ve lost quite a bit of hair due to rubbish iron levels and stress so it’s quite the challenge.
any recommendations would be amazing. Thank you

Just had this conversation with my hairdresser and she thinks I need to move from “normal hair” shampoo to wavy products and see if it helps retain moisture longer. She says that I should have a play with some curl cream and see what happens with my hair. ATM I use leave in conditioner and hair dry about 70% of the way. I’m procrastinating over a blow dry brush to see if I can get it half as nice as a professional blow dry.

I got a really good hair cut from a hairdresser that’s good with curly hair and it’s made all the difference. I wash and dry it upside down and leave it to dry itself. If you look at Merwave they show you how to do it. I don’t use their products now as I find them really drying, I just use a good quality shampoo and conditioner, the most moisturising I can find. I use a hair oil or serum and scrunch it in whilst damp to reduce frizz.
