Sports bras without those dratted removable pads?

Does anyone know where I can find sports bras (light to medium support - mainly to be worn for barre classes) that don't have those phenomenally irritating removable cups?

I quite like a molded cup to avoid nipples on show but I detest having to take them out to wash the bra and then fiddle about putting them back in again when I'm in a hurry to get dressed.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I don’t but am very eager to find some so with interest!

Boobydoo. Use the filtering to search. I've never come across the removable padding you describe, but my requirements are different. I can say that the shockabsorber multrisports bra has proper cups (not obvious from the photos) and no padding , but I wear it for running, so it's probably more support than you need.

I wear the shock absorber ultimate run bra which I find very comfortable. Obviously it's a running bra but I wouldn't say that the support is overpowering and it doesn't have removable pads but is a bit padded and moulded.

Edited to add that I have the padded version but the padding is light. There is also an unpadded version.

Also following as those inserts are the bane of my bloody laundry life!! I do need running support though.

TK maxx sometimes have them in. I look through every sports bra in my size and check for pads.

Victoria Secret is great for those moulded cups. The one near me closed, are they even in the UK anymore? I got one from Vinted recently. It's excellent.

Thanks for the suggestions.

And glad it's not just me that hates them. I just don't understand who thinks they are such a good idea that they should be in so many otherwise lovely sports bras!

Under Armour have a range without padding; very comfortable and surprisingly supportive!

I need them also. I’ve ended up wearing a regular bra as after a couple of washes the sports bras turn to shit.

None of my sports bras have removable pads. I bought mine from Decathlon, Sports Direct and M&S. The best one by far is from M&S. It wasn't this one, but similar Reebok sports bra in that is has no padding and also doesn't have crossover back straps that cause me really bad shoulder pains. It's more crop top-shaped but gives good support. (The one I love most isn't currently in stock)

I wear under armour ones and just take the pads out. They’re double layered and thick enough to hide nipples.

ellieinfrance · 02/10/2025 22:39

Panache Endurance sports bra - may be higher support than you need, but very excellent support with no annoying removable pads

eurochick · 03/10/2025 11:27

I have never had a removable pad in any sports bra. I didn’t even know they were a thing until this thread. Mine are shock absorber, under armour and reebok brands.

Summerhillsquare · 03/10/2025 13:08

I have one from M&S, it is quite old though.

spoonbillstretford · 03/10/2025 13:11

H&M ones are very good.

I only wear the unpadded version of the ultimate SA, as mentioned above, it’s brilliant. I wear it for running and have done for around 25 years. Have a look at some of their other bras, my daughter has a couple of SA’s that don’t have the crossed back (no idea of the style names though) and are for lower level activity but are still very supportive. No inserts. Neither of us get anything with padding, we’re both 32DD.

I used Shock Absorber until the price went stratospheric. Found Agonvin on Amazon and am delighted.

mummymissessunshine · 03/10/2025 13:21

I love the Primadonna. No annoying pads and very supportive for larger boobs (32G - excellent for running)

I wear sports bras from M&S and have found they are supportive and comfortable. It sounds like they have greatly improved their bra fitting service.
