Comfortable un-branded trainers

I work in a school and spend a lot of time on my feet. Although it's not a hard and fast rule, the school are now encouraging kids to wear school shoes or un-branded smart trainers. I feel it's not really fair for the adults to then turn up in Adidas/NewBalance/Nike. There's lots of nice trainers available on the high street and in supermarkets, but they need to comfortable and I don't have time to go around trying loads on. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Just bought these last week OP and they are phenomenally comfortable. I usually wear New balance and these feel exactly the same level of comfort. (And they are obviously a New balance dupe, don’t know if that’s ok in terms of your requirements!!)

Not sure if your price range as they’re pricier than supermarket but they really are gorgeous and so so comfy.

but you're not a student mandated to wear a uniform!

No, I'm not mandated to wear anything specific but if I find something I like that comfortable then there's no harm in setting an example.

Thanks. I did actually look at these online and wondered what they'd be like.

I work in a school and wear totally black adidas trainers but was looking at Brooks Adrenaline running trainers also totally in black, my daughter wears them for work and is on her feet all day in a supermarket.

I have the 'chunky trainers' from H&M. They are usually around £38.00 but I got mine in the sale last year for £19.00. I wear them almost every day.
