Dyson styler dupes

I really want to start making more of an effort with my hair. It’s just about shoulder length. I can’t afford the Dyson but am being taken in my all the adverts on Instagram for dupes! Has anyone got a styling tool that doesn’t cost the earth and gives a good, bouncy blow dry

I bought one of the dupes. It was pure shit. Total waste of £29.99.

I have a Revlon round brush (paid under £20) and the Aldi Dyson dupe (think about £50). Fairly thick wavy hair, just below shoulders. Both work pretty well - I use the Revlon one the most as it does a decent job of drying (from damp, not soaking) as well as styling. Tend to only use the air wrap tongs on the Aldi one once dry. The curl doesn’t last on my hair (nothing does apart from frizz!) but it drops into a nice loose bouncy style. It was a gift but would say it’s probably worth £50 as a styler, especially if you use all the attachments. The dryer attachment isn’t great for my hair but does get it dry enough to use the hot brush attachment, but I tend to just let my hair air dry a bit then use the Revlon.

Have a look on Vinted - lots on there for under half the price you’d pay new. I’d suggest borrowing a friend’s/family member’s first to make sure you can get on with it.

The babyliss air styler is great. I mostly use the brush but it’s well worth the £40.
