have white hairs, not masses but enough that it's is beginning to bother me. have been advised to go for semi-permanent in absolute match to my colour. does that exist? will my hair change completely? is it right that salon colour is completely different to off the shelf? talk to me!

I used to go regularly for glossing as had a few grey hairs . Found that I used to get too much colour build up on the ends if I did it myself. However, I'm now doing it myself sometimes and going to the salon sometimes to try to cut down the cost. I didn't find the colour much different from the ones I found on the shelf, just that I didn't quite have the knack for reapplications............

does it look dyed when you have it done?
