What is this type of hot brush I’m looking for?

Please bear in mind I am really really ignorant about hair styling!!

i think I want to try a kind of hot brush for styling, but NOT the kind that blows hair dry at the same time as styling… this would be to use on dry hair to kind of smooth it and maybe refresh it a bit between washes.

This exists, right…?!

I am very VERY incompetent and lazy with my hair (this may be obvious…) and also I have a huge amount of very thick hair and really don’t fancy trying anything that rotates…

Is this called a hot brush?? Or is a hot brush one that also dries as you use it?

If this thing does exist and I’m not imagining it, any good suggestions? Would rather not spend more than £60ish until I’m sure I will use it regularly. But I do want something that will work so can go up a bit if there’s a Perfect Gadget out there.

I have wavy (as I say) VERY thick hair that I usually like to style a bit straight (but not poker straight like with straighteners) and frizz is my major problem.

Thanks all!

I have a shark one that you can use on one setting to dry your hair and another without the air just heat to smooth and style.

Definitely exists! I've got a couple, one that's like a paddle brush and a round one.

Both from Amazon, just search hot brush and you'll get loads of options.

Have a look at the Mark Hill 'pick and mix'
The handle and a variety of different attachments are all sold separately. The range includes all kinds of tongs and straighteners and I have two different brushes, a barrel brush and a paddle brush and they both work really well.

Thanks everyone! So a ‘hot brush’ doesn’t blow air, have I got that right?? I will google, plus look at all the suggestions above 🙏
