Shiny nose cover up

I have an oily nose and forehead that I’ve always covered with powder. I don’t wear powdered products anymore as they just end up in my fine lines. Can someone recommend a cream, or perhaps a primer that reduces the oily shine?

I live in a warm climate and have a sweaty face so it needs to be able to stand up to that!

This is my bete noir and I've spent years finding solutions.
Here are my thoughts!

No cream round your Tzone in the day. Just use a serum and that's it. Let it sink in.

Then use a mattifying primer. I'm using the Rodial one at the moment. My next one will be the Refy one. Let that sink in. That's just to stop piling.

Then blot with a tissue. Then small amount of concealer if needed. Not a reflective one obviously.

Then once that's dried use a bit of powder. My favourite one ever is the By Terry Hylaronic powder. It won't settle into lines.

Then throughout the day use oil blotting papers. Boots own brand do good ones or whatever you find where you live. You can get ones with a tiny bit of powder on the sheets.

Is that the Refy sculpt and glow primer? I’ll have to have a search for the Rodial one too I’m not sure I can get it here!

This is exactly what I was looking for thank you! I remember using blotting paper when I was younger so will look for it again.

Refy have two primers. It's the Blur and Hydrate I think I will be buying as it's the one that controls shine.

Another one I like is the StriVectin Line BlurFector which also seems to control a shiny nose. The pore blurring primers seem to have an antishine effect too!

Sand and Sky Oil Control Mask is good, I also like the Vue Swiss nose patches. Benefit Porefessional is an excellent primer too.

I use a volcanic stone roller instead of blotting paper.

You need Chillab lavender matte powder. Note it’s not actually powder but more of a gel that you gently dab on with a little sponge thing (or your fingers). It’s amazing!!

I have oily but sensitive skin and have spent YEARS trying to resolve the shiny face / nose issue. I’ve wasted so much money on primers and mattifying powders and it’s been a pretty miserable (and shiny!) journey. For me that only things that have consistently worked have been blotting papers, Shiseido Pureness compact face powder (discontinued a few years ago to my frustration) and Chillab lavender powder. I only tried Chillab last year and was expecting yet another expensive failed attempt at reducing the shine so I was pleasantly surprised that it does a great job, regardless of whether you’re wearing make-up or not (and it doesn’t ruin/remove your make-up as long as you just gently dab it on the surface of your skin to remove the shine/oil).

There are some much cheaper lavender powder dupes on Amazon but I haven’t dared try them in case they’re rubbish and/or they mess up my skin. I’m sticking with Chillab.

I’ll have a look at this as well thank you!
