Can anyone please recommend a good type of foundation / concealer to cover up scars on arms please.
Ive got a event coming up and was hoping to wear shorter sleeves for a change but need something better than my average concealer.
Ive looked at tattoo cover up etc on Amazon and its got such mixed reviews I thought I’d ask here as I’d rather trust your advice :)
thank you

The trouble with scars is that they have a texture as well as a colour so even with a thick cover-up they’re visible. If you can’t find a decent cover up, I’d suggest either sleeves (maybe sheer ones) or just owning it. I appreciate that the latter might be hard if they’re self-harm scars which could attract comment/attention. I have them so I know what it’s like.

@KimTheresPeopleThatAreDying thank you for your reply , I hadn’t really figured that in so thank you for that , I think sheer sleeves might be the way as I don’t want to have foundation all over my clothes either I guess.
it will be quite dark so think I can get away with it
I hope you’re doing well too

I was in sephora yesterday and tried glossier stretch balm concealer which I was really impressed with and will be buying when my nars one runs out.

I have acne scarring so I'm always on the lookout and the texture was thick but natural if that makes sense like its really easy to work with and sculpt. Would recommend a reflecting powder patted on the top like the nars one.

Sorry just seen its on your arms I would then recommend the mac longwear paint pot and a strong setting spray x

Vita Liberata body blur might also work, I absolutely love it, although I don't have raised scars it noticeably improves marks etc. Maybe you could try a sample in store?
