Struggling with my style - need fine knit black jumpers, and shirts

Like many of us on here I'm having a style crisis. I have lots of clothes but nothing goes because of the colours or patterns. I’ve decided to keep it simple and stick to browns and blacks, possibly some dark reds or greens - I’m a true autumn apparently - brown eyes, olive skin and undyed medium brown hair. I am looking for day to day wear, I’ve got black and grey Levi jeans, black adidas special, brown suede biker boots, and a black pair too. Black Chelsea boots.
I like - shirts - not oversized, but not too fitted. Natural fibres - lightweight jumpers for layering over shirts - simple black T-shirts, kind of boxy, not long in length so I can tuck - I’d like an chunky cardigan too - and no idea about a jacket! I’d like one I can wear during autumn and layer - I have a Levi’s black denim Sherpa but it’s a bit bulky for me.
My aim is to be able to grab and go, as at the moment getting dressed stresses me out, especially in this transitional weather.
Does anyone have any tips or holy grail items they could recommend to me please?

@Orangepatea quick google does look like I’m describing Steve jobs, but I don’t like blue jeans

Uniqlo? I relate to the style you are describing though mine is louder colours. But equally simple shapes and textures with no patterns. Uniqlo and Hush are where I tend to find my things.

@LadyTyburnill check them out, although I’ve tried Uniqlo and struggle to understand the sizing. Thank you

I like hush for jeans and some t shirts. Bam for really soft long and short sleeved t-shirts ( they've got some great stuff for yoga and Pilates too).
Seasalt for plain jumpers although you have to drill down for the "boring" colours!
Marks does some great fine knit merino jumpers. Try a few sizes. And I've got a brilliant one from Zara but last time I looked, I ran out of patience with the website and the stupid model poses.

@NotbloodyGivingupYetthank you, some great suggestions - and same with Zara, I don’t bother with their website

Arket do surprisingly good knitwear. Have a look and see if it suits your taste.
