Hi everyone. Before I invest, has anyone found a moisturiser similar, but cheaper?

Thank you in advance!

Used it religiously for over 25 years but now I use the number 7 protect and perfect intense range and really like it. My mum put me on the Clinique 1,2,3 regime as a young teenager and I do credit it with the good condition of my skin now I’m in my early 40s.

It's a bit old.school. Why DDM in particular There are so many cheaper creams now with better technology and are more interesting. What do you need? I dont know your skin type but what about Korean brands like Medicube or VT? Or I like La Roche Posay which doesn't have fragrance.

Same I'm 60 and I'll give up my Clinique when they go out of business or I do. I've added a Lancome serums and tlhe Clinique overnight moisturizer to my routine in recent years but I have fabulous skin for my age and I credit Clinique.

Same. Used it since age 22 plus the Turnaround Cream that they discontinued a while back. So it the No 7 Protect and Perfect called a day moisturiser? I don't need the SF as I have the City Block 50 to use too.

I suppose laziness - I haven't got time to peruse the shops but also I live rurally and I am not about to go to the nearest city, which will be a whole day trip!!! But also I love the way it goes into my skin. So, my skin used to be oily but now it's drier (peri-menopause I suppose) and I want something to feed it. I also have some dark spots and freckles emerging so if anything can get rid of those too, or lessen them, I'd be super pleased!

What to you think, with what you know? Thank you 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Vitamin C for dark spots and freckles ( I like the Garnier Vitamin C serum which is cheap and just as good as expensive stuff I think)

And then just a normal moisturiser in the day. I'm a bit of a tart when it comes to face creams and flit about. Bobbi Brown Vitamin Face base is good in the day as it moisturises well and also acts as a primer and isnt greasy.

And then for night get prescription retinol from Renew + Me as tretinoin is the only stuff proven to work. So I would spend my money there. And I'm also using Medicube PDRN capsule cream (online) which is good and also a bit different. Korean brands are better and much cheaper. I follow James Welsh @james_a_welsh on insta as he loves Korean brands and has been reviewing them for years. These days I just want something that works and is also (very) reasonably priced.

Are you currently using a retinol? I added one into my routine a year ago and can really see a difference in terms of skin texture and appearance. Are you using an SPF? I use the La Roche posey one, factor 50 every day and I also like the number 7 future renew serum. Vitamin c serums really don’t suit me, in fact anything with vitamin c seems to irritate my skin and it will take a few weeks to calm down so personally I avoid those now. I like peptides, retinol, hyaluronic acid serums and glycolic acid toners.

I would suggest using cerave moisturiser. Here is my routine that I follow with that:
Morning:
Using water to wash your face,
Sebamed clear face gel,
Garnier spf
Evening:
Cerave moisturizer,
Started with Tretinoin (0.025) from skinorac
Sebamed clear facial gel
