Me + EM quality and value question for the experts!

I haven’t ever ordered before but due to the try before you buy I have just received this dress and the white version in sizes 10 & 12.

It fits like a glove size 12 and is a snug but perfect fit, I now have to decide to return and at £325 full price I’m just on the fence if it was maybe £150-200 I wouldn’t be hesitant but does this brand wash and wear well, is there any give over time? Do they last well?

it’s a perfect (now) for but if I did put on any weight it wouldn’t fit? So do I size up, is there much between sizes with this brand.

arhhh I have 3 days left to decide.

Oh and do they sell out or do I hold fire for reductions and sales?

For me at 5’2 this is a fab smart ankle boots for meetings and then trainers and leather jacket Sunday dinner kind of dress. I could even throw a cardy over and wear chunky biker boots.

Well, yes of course, @YYURYYUCICYYUR4ME. I imagine they’d love to be in a position where the only people who can afford to buy their clothes (maybe entire collections at a time) are public figures with oligarch level patrons; heads of state; and royalty.

I’m glad to hear all the positives, annoyingly I’ve never been able to afford the brand until recently and the moment I can it’s gone up in price, seems like the story of my life!!

The 14 arrived and is just perfect, a bit loose on the waist, but so is much happier with the bigger size.

I too am a fan of Me + Em and have several pieces from them that I have owned for a few years. They are good quality. They also do limited runs of things, so things I have had my eye on have sold out and never make it to a sale.

Their prices have gone up lately, but I have found they have also widened their spread of prices. in that they now have items under £100, items under £150, under £200 etc so there is more choice at a lower price point. But their dresses and blazers have gone up in price considerably. I assume they feel customers will buy something at the lower price point, and then if they Ike it, stretch for an investment piece?

Can I ask how you got on with the jeans ?
They weren’t too long ?
I bought the black cheesecloth maxi in the sale , its lovely , well made , pockets 😉 but the long arms and tight elasticated cuff make it too warm for summer but the style and fabric scream summer so I’m not sure how to get the wear out of it .

I love Me+Em and usually wait for their sales which are excellent, or buy on Vinted. My most-complimented dress ever is from them, £175 half price in the sale.

That’s a lovely dress OP. I’ve just bought the blouse in the same pattern but the fabric is cotton and silk. I’d be very careful washing the dress, it states to handwash in cold water but I’d use a damp/sponge to clean any marks, rather than washing often iykwim. Viscose always shrinks a little I find.
