Blusher turns orange?

Well its not just blusher, lipsticks too!

I have fair skin but I find that makeup has a tendency to pull orange or even just 'muddy'.
This happens with products that dont appear to have an orange tone to them, and I don't know if they are simply too warm for my skin or if its my skin's chemistry!
Does anyone else have this problem?

Me !

Only found two that don’t do that. One was a French brand that I don’t think exists anymore, but was big in the 80s, Bonjour I think.

The other is Lily Lolo Rosebud, which I bought years ago and is still more than half full. Cos a little goes a long way. Especially all over my bathroom. Place looks like Tinkerbell puked in there if I forget to be cautious when opening the pot.

You want something with a “blue” base tone. A seeming near impossible task. Things can look cool toned, then turn into a Tango impersonator once you’ve committed to the purchase.

I’m still searching for a lipstick that doesn’t go orangey on me. Had one in 1987. Forgot the name and have been searching for the Holy Grail ever since.

Me too! Bigly.

Fortunately I don't think anyone has noticed.

At least it's not just me!
I'm going to follow the advice to try more blue based products, thinking plum and berry tones. I will report back if I have any success.
