Can anyone suggest a shampoo and conditioner for extremely frizzy hair please? (Think white person but with afro type hair). Ive battled with it for over 40 years now. Thank you.

I’d suggest you join one of the curly girl groups on Facebook for advice or seek a good curly only hairdresser. Boucleme products are good but there are so many options nowadays with lots of brands jumping on the bandwagon. Cantu may work for you if you have type 4 coils .

The shampoo and conditioner is less of an issue than the treatment.

Have you tried kerastase leave in milk conditioner and elixir? Do you straighten your hair? Is the goal for it to be straight or just not fizzy?

I haven't tried the product you mentioned. I straighten it as much as possible but it only goes wavy not straight. Id like it to be not frizzy if that's at all possible!

Boucleme, miellé, only curls, curlsmith . I really like Miellé products but all of these are good . Their websites have advice about which of their products to use with which hair type .

Then, I think these will work great for you. Been using them for years. My hair is naturally curly but frizzy if I don't make it commit.

Follow some curly accounts on Instagram. They're great. It is less about the products you use and more about the styling and drying. (Although good conditioner is important). You want to create clean, frizz-free 'clumps' when wet and dry them without disturbing them too much ie gentle diffusing or air drying.

I have fizzy hair and finally got handle of it. Keratine treatment every 6-8 months, in between using any shampoos and conditioners with keratine - i love Nanogen and Philipp Mitchell for example. After I wash hair i use olaplex no 6 and then l'anza smooth straigtening balm - both to leave in

Don't use shampoo! Just wash with conditioner. That's made a huge difference for me. Definitely look up curly girl method. It has changed my hair for good. It took a while to see which products worked for.me, recommendations weren't always the best it was more a case of trying different things. I love super drug's purple curl cream and orange volume mousse.
