If they spent that much money on me, I would want to look a bit better than a guesstimated 3 years off my real age.

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 28/05/2008 21:47

Cod did you do eye make-up remover in your testing thingy? Decent one that will remover waterproof mascara? Cheap. Pleeease.

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 28/05/2008 21:55

Drums fingers impatiently.

iamdingdong · 28/05/2008 21:56

saggars i use nivea visage eye makeup remover, works ok, pretty cheap

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 28/05/2008 22:04

Ta ding dong. The one I'm using currently (cheapo Tesco) doesn't touch waterproof - I've given up scrubbing and am using baby oil at the moment.

Piffle · 29/05/2008 12:51

l'oreal one gets my waterproof sludge off

next weeks one looks like a toss up between yuk and ugh
NHJ goes over the top
Fix the teeth, pluck the brows, do a few make up tips, nioce maintainable hairdo. manicure

And FFS normal clothes not chiffon blouses for a mother of 5!!!!!!!!!!!
NHJ is bizarre, purple and red? Ugh at her clothes, nice hair SHIT clothes. Lamb dressed as mutton hmmmm

Waitrose own brand eye makeup remover is v good and v cheap - way better than the horrid Clinique stuff I had before.

So what's so good about Chanel foundation; I need a new foundation to replace the foul Boots No7 one I bought because it was on special offer; usually use Max Factor or Prescriptives, depending on how rich I'm feeling.

iamdingdong · 29/05/2008 19:30

I have used bifacil as well, tis better, but not better enough to be worth the ££

Thanks Cod, will go and see the scary shop assistant and have a try. My skin is combination, prone to be more oily in the summer.

iamdingdong · 29/05/2008 19:35

janeite my skin is like that, I use lancome color ideal, nice natural coverage, doesn't make my skin break out

janeite · 29/05/2008 19:58

Thanks - will have a look at that too; only ever had eyeliners from Lancome.

cornsilk · 29/05/2008 20:03

So is the lancome the best eye make up remover cod? I've been using simple but I practically have to pull my eyelashes out to get it off.
What do you mean by cocktail rings?

Hmmm - not convinced by the cocktail rings!

maidamess · 29/05/2008 20:15

You have to have the right shape hands. Long and gangly, not short and dumpy.

cornsilk · 29/05/2008 20:28

I do have long hands. Maybe I should give them a whirl.

maidamess · 29/05/2008 20:28

Yeah, go for it! the bigger the better.
