Is it normal to feel like a clown, when wearing a suit for the first time ?

I got my grant for interview clothes today, so trotted off to Dotty P's and eventually got a jacket, blouse, trousers and shoes.

I feel like such am idiot in it all though.

It didn't help that the choice of blouses wasn't very good, and so I ended up with boring plain white.

I do like the shoes though.

I feel weird and clown like in styles I am not used to

Am currently looking for suitable black-tie dress. Tried on a couple of prom-dress styles today... oo-er

Nowt wrong with a plain white blouse and I bet you look neat and smart.

Yeah, I do look neat and smart, but god do I feel weird.

I kept saying to my mum, 'how on earth do people wear these jackets all day'. I felt like I was being suffocated.

It is a nice suit though. Fingers crossed that I won't need it for anymore interviews though LOL.
