Hair that takes on a life of its own in the damp/rain

I have shoulder length layered (though trying to grow them out) hair. It's quite thick. I usually straighten it after drying and then it will stay reasonably straight (except my cowslick at the front) until I wash it again.
BUT it's naturally wavy/sort of curly. Not nice soft curls, more Hagrid! A hint of damp in the air, or rain and I can actually see it frizzing , curling and waving .

I do not want to embrace my natural waves... I am also going grey (happily) and straight, it looks decent, rain/ damp, I look like a cartoon bog witch!

Are there any products which can actually fight the damp=frizz?

I have identical issue, solved by having kera straight at
the hairdressers twice a year. Expensive (£150 a time) but so worth it!

Same although my hair is fine. Same occurs when humid too so it looks nice approximately two weeks per year.

What's the kera thing like if you want to keep your curls? Also can i wash my hair the day after and how will it be the first werk or so? Have a special event coming up and debated this for ages

How straight is your hair then @ildaogden?
How long does it last ?

Sorry forgot about this thread! I have very curly hair that is not naturally very nice! I straighten it every day, the kera straight
leaves it silky smooth and very easy to just blow dry straight for about 4-5 months then it starts wearing off a bit.
if I left it to air dry it would be just wavy.
you can wash it next day no problem.

@ildaogden thank you

So it can be done in a way that I don't have to lose my curls completely? I like my curls. I just don't like my frizz.
