Middle aged moisturiser - help!

Hoping someone can suggest a good moisturiser for me (45F). I have a very minimal beauty regime but do apply moisturiser twice a day without fail as otherwise my skin feels dry and tight. I need something with a good SPF as standard (30+) and I need to be able to layer a 50+ sunscreen over the top on the days when I work outside.

For years I've used Loreal Revitalift but I find it pills and I'm forever rolling sticky bits of my own skin off my face and this gets worse when I use sunscreen on top. Most recently I tried Olay Regenerist Whip but I'm 1/3 through the pot and the skin on the lower half of my face has started to go really rough and weird. Plus I find it runs when I'm hot and stings my eyes. Not good.

Any suggestions for a good, affordable moisturiser for a middle aged mum? Thanks so much!

I just use this with a serum underneath. It’s really nice. Doesn’t pill and leaves a bit of a glow. www.boots.com/avene-very-high-protection-cream-spf50-sun-cream-for-sensitive-skin-50ml-10246611?srsltid=AfmBOoo27YHjmEUJmovahYPUPTsqzxxsElgr2xVa31M8xfVYAuGNZnUU

I use Estee Lauder ANR Serum( I buy it on Vinted so MUCH cheaper )plus CeraVe Lotion - not the cream, I prefer the lotion as it seems more moisturising. I use Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturiser at night as it's richer. Also menopausal.

I like the No7 Future Renew day cream - it's got SPF40 in it, it's quite thick (good for my dry skin) and although it's not cheap at full price, every few months you can juggle the various app offers so it works out at well under £20 a jar.

I prefer the anthelios from la roche posay as it suits my skin. So here goes my routine with that:
Morning:
Using water to wash your face,
Sebamed clear face gel,
La Roche Posay spf on my face
Cicaplast
Evening:
LRP moisturizer,
Tretinoin (0.1) from skinorac
Sebamed clear facial gel

Elemis pro-collagen has transformed my skin (late 40s). I also love their superfood range for overnight

The other Boots find I came across recently was their Dermacare Ceramides range. I needed some emergency, cheap-but-decent skincare (forgot my overnight bag) and bought the moisturiser and the serum. Really, really good, no frills stuff, at a bargain price. I've got rosacea prone skin so it can react easily to new products, but no reaction at all with this. It's hidden away in most stores, as is their single ingredients range, but worth hunting out.

Maybe Clinique dramatically different moisturiser spf 50. Goes on well & not greasy.

I just use a hydrating serum and sunscreen in the morning (no moisturiser) – this is enough moisture for me tbh. In the evening I use the Cerave moisturising cream in the big tub. It’s great, lasts ages and it’s cheap.
